Death

In which our hero faces the end and imagines it’s smirking in a most merciless way.

No matter how much I wish to have a completely honest and open relationship with everyone, it never works that way. I don’t lie much, nor cheat, I just wish sometimes I didn’t have to dance around people’s feelings when we all have them and know that reality doesn’t care for them.

I spend so much of my life (as I expect we all do) trying to impress people. And in some cases trying to put people off. It is said that we should be ourselves, without dressing up and playing pretend so much, but won’t that make us lazy? without the effort expended to others we may look quite uninterested, uninteresting and indolent. And not just if one’s self is naturally lazy, surely we must all have a lackadaisical base to return to, else we’d burn out like many an artistic genius. I guess the moral is we must all put on a bit of a show whether it’s for ourselves or not, and if anything else fails, discover more about a subject/language you’ve known your whole life. It’s been said before, especially by me, that we’re all acting all the time and it’s not a bad thing, but how can we ever share every night and day with a lifelong living partner without resorting to our private ways?

Apparently I.S.P.s might have to cut-off customers that use P2P networks for illegal downloads.

Meanwhile Jackie Chan makes a good Captain Jack Sparrow, but Jet Li’s Silent Monk might be an improvement on Will Turner. Either way children’s movies are earning more respect, especially with Stephen Chow!
