We’re already a quarter of the way through the year. On reflection here are a couple of thoughts from this period:
The sex life of rough sleepers.
Why I haven’t recorded a version of Hallelujah.
I thought I could probably tick a number of things off my Wanted list by now, but it seems I already removed the pillow and other household items. [Edit - Turns out they were on a shopping list, the contents of which I obtained from various sources.] But the first (3D glasses) and middle (camera) items are a start, and for my birthday in a couple of months I will get myself the second (Heelys) (the new middle item is screen wipes for Colin but his bought day is many months away).

I was about to ask someone how they do it, living in an awesome landscape having snowy adventures every week. It reads like they’re on holiday all the time, but for all I know there could be a nine-to-five in there that’s never mentioned. Do I not live beside a large woodland park containing foxes and squirrels? Do I not have any imagination? Do I not have time in the evening which I choose spend ‘keeping in touch’ with my electronic life?

Today was interspersed with what I thought was frustration, so why do I feel so good? Is it the same happiness I’ve felt over recent days that isn’t explained by materials nor events? Just a product of my mood? or was it significantly heightened by things today?

Apart from the two books the only thing that inspired me to photograph it was my perfectly ripe avocado sliced in two with a sharp knife. Both images only exist in my memory.
